Based in Cheshire, Mike boasts over 30 years of experience in musical performance, having showcased his talents at numerous prestigious events ranging from weddings and conferences to significant band performances at the MEN Arena.
He has served as musical director for various productions and societies throughout the Cheshire region. Notably, his productions of Stephen Sondheim's 'Sweeney Todd' and Frank Wildhorn's 'Jekyll and Hyde' have garnered recognition as NODA award-winning shows.
Currently, Mike performs as the keyboardist for 'Chic Out,' a tribute act dedicated to celebrating the music of Nile Rodgers, touring venues across the UK. Additionally, he serves as the pianist for 'Bring on the Swing,' a swing group based in Cheshire and is a Choir Director for Magic Voices.
Mike is frequently approached for private engagements, including weddings and corporate events. He offers comprehensive packages featuring fully customised repertoires tailored to clients' preferences, complemented by detailed consultations. His musical proficiency, coupled with his professional and personable approach, has earned him a stellar reputation among all those he collaborates with, consistently prioritising these values in every endeavour.
His compositional work includes collaborations with BBC Radio 3, as well as contributions to "Icon" – the Marilyn Monroe Musical, performed at Wimbledon Theatre. Recently, he has completed several musical commissions for local festivals, including the musical journey "Threads," created for Macclesfield's Barnaby Festival.
